J. Wayne Poole, Inc. is a full-service general contractor with unlimited licenses in North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, and Virginia. A small family business established in 1976, J. Wayne Poole, Inc. has completed work for federal agencies, state agencies, city/county governments, and private entities. Completed projects include new construction, additions, design-build, historical restorations, and renovations of existing facilities. Organizational memberships include: US Green Building Council, Preservation NC, and Preservation Greensboro. We belong to the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce in support of our community.

J. Wayne Poole, Inc has been awarded and successfully executed multiple IDIQ contracts with the General Services Administration. Our firm has worked for the GSA in NC, SC, Virginia, and has current IDIQ contracts for the districts of Maryland/Jefferson County, Western Virginia/West Virginia, and  Tennessee/Kentucky. Additionally, we have been awarded Basic Order 

Agreement Contracts (BOA) with the Federal Aviation Administration. The BOA consists of renovations to occupied air traffic control towers, and various infrastructure enhancements for navigational aids at airport facilities.
